FRIED
EGG ON TOAST WITH HOT SAUCE.

A perfectly fried egg with crispy lacy edges on buttered toast. Never gets old.

Ingredients

• eggs 2 large
• butter or olive oil 1 tbsp
• sourdough, toasted and buttered 2 slices
• flaky salt, black pepper, hot sauce (Crystal or Cholula) to taste

Method

1. 01

   Fry the eggs

   Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a small pan over medium high heat until foamy and just starting to brown. Crack the 2 large eggs into the pan and season immediately. Let the whites set and the edges go lacy and crispy while the yolk stays runny, about 2 to 3 minutes.

   Serve

   Slide the eggs onto buttered sourdough and add hot sauce. Eat immediately.
