Ingredients
- thick sourdough or ciabatta, toasted 2 slices
- garlic, halved 1 clove
- very ripe tomato, halved 1 large
- excellent olive oil 2 tbsp
- flaky sea salt to taste
Method

Rub
Rub 1 halved garlic clove firmly over 2 slices of hot toast. Rub 1 halved tomato over the toast, squeezing gently to stain the bread red.

Finish
Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and flaky salt.
Slop Notes
The tomato must be very ripe and the bread must be hot. This is one of the great simple pleasures of eating.
