- soft goat cheese (chevre) 60g
- good honey 1 tbsp
- walnuts or pecans, toasted 2 tbsp
- sliced figs or pears, fresh thyme optional

Spread 60g of soft goat cheese generously on the 2 slices of toasted sourdough.

Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of good honey, scatter 2 tablespoons of toasted walnuts, and add fresh thyme if using.

Room temperature goat cheese spreads much more easily than cold. The combination of honey and goat cheese is very nearly perfect.
