Ingredients
- ripe avocado 1 large
- lime, juiced 1/4
- red onion, finely diced 2 tbsp
- jalapeño, minced (optional) 1 tbsp
- fresh cilantro, chopped small handful
- salt to taste
- tortilla chips to serve
Method

Mash
Halve the 1 large ripe avocado, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash with a fork to your preferred texture.

Season
Add the juice of 1/4 lime, 2 tablespoons of finely diced red onion, 1 tablespoon of minced jalapeño, cilantro, and a generous pinch of salt. Taste and adjust, then serve immediately with tortilla chips.
Slop Notes
The lime juice both flavors the guac and prevents browning. Add it before anything else.
