- soft pretzels, frozen or store bought, warmed 2-3
- sharp cheddar, shredded 60g
- butter 1 tbsp
- flour 1 tsp
- beer or milk 1/4 cup
- dijon mustard 1 tsp
Method

Make cheese sauce
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in 1 teaspoon of flour to make a roux and cook for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in a quarter cup of beer or milk until smooth. Add 60g of shredded sharp cheddar and 1 teaspoon of dijon mustard, stirring continuously until the cheese is completely melted and glossy.

Serve
Warm the 2 to 3 soft pretzels according to the package instructions. Dip them straight into the pot of warm cheese sauce.
Slop Notes
A splash of hot sauce in the cheese sauce makes it noticeably better.
