Store-Bought Pork Belly Bao

Using supermarket char siu pork belly and frozen steamed buns. Restaurant at home.

  1. Steam buns

    Steam 2 to 3 frozen bao buns until fluffy.

  2. Warm pork

    Warm 100g of pork belly slices in a hot pan until edges caramelize.

  3. Build

    Open bao, spread 2 tbsp hoisin inside, add pork, pickled vegetables, cilantro, and 1 tsp sriracha.

Frozen bao buns are available at most Asian supermarkets and steam back to perfect in minutes.
