- olive oil cake, bakery or homemade 1 generous slice
- mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) 1 cup
- sugar 1 tsp
- lemon juice 1 tsp
- whipped cream, mascarpone, or vanilla yogurt optional
Method

Macerate berries
Toss 1 cup of berries with 1 tsp sugar and 1 tsp lemon juice for 10 minutes until they release their juice.

Plate
Serve 1 slice of cake alongside or topped with macerated berries and cream if using.
