- popcorn kernels 1/4 cup
- neutral oil 2 tbsp
- salted butter, melted 2 tbsp
- flaky salt to taste
- nutritional yeast, parmesan, tajin, everything bagel, or chilli lime seasoning choice of
Method

Heat 2 tablespoons of neutral oil in a large pot over medium high. Add 3 test kernels and cover. When they pop, add the rest of the kernels, cover, and shake the pot every 30 seconds until popping slows.

Season
Transfer to a bowl, immediately toss with 2 tablespoons of melted butter, flaky salt, and your seasoning of choice so it sticks to the hot kernels.
Slop Notes
Stovetop popcorn is infinitely superior to microwave. Nutritional yeast plus salt is the underrated combination.
