- yellow onions, thinly sliced 2
- butter 2 tbsp
- sour cream 1/2 cup
- cream cheese, softened 2 tbsp
- garlic powder 1 tsp
- salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce to taste
- ridged potato chips (Ruffles) to serve
Method

Caramelize onions
Cook 2 thinly sliced yellow onions in 2 tablespoons of butter with salt over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until deep golden and jammy. Let cool.

Make dip
Mix 1/2 cup of sour cream, 2 tablespoons of cream cheese, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and Worcestershire. Fold in the cooled onions and season.

Serve
Serve with ridged chips. The dip is better after an hour in the fridge.
Slop Notes
You cannot rush caramelized onions. Low and slow for 30 minutes minimum.
